Crazy

Torrential downpours is the theme of the day.

 

When I tried to wake up this morning, it was pouring straight against the window and so dark out that I went back to sleep.

 

By the time I went to work, they had said that it was going to clear up.  Sure enough, it was bright and sunny and I came in with sunglasses.  It was still not too bad when we went to lunch, fairly sunny.

 

I thought when they said "clear up," they meant for the rest of the day!

 

Apparently not.

 

When we left lunch, it was pouring.  Waited for it to let up and then took the subway one stop.  Got ice cream and it was finally done raining.  Just very wet.

 

Back to work and now it's pouring again.  Thundering nonstop.  Ick.
