When the wind is fiercely blowing around 30 mph and the temperatures with wind chill are at zero or below, when you get the chills in a heated room from being literally chilled to the bone from a hint of cold air, when it's so cold that after 20 minutes in a well-heated car inside fleece gloves your fingers are still frozen and colder than the steering wheel, when the winter wind has whipped your nose into a numb point and you're out of breath from battling the wind on the short walk from the school to the parking lot...
... that's the day you shouldn't forget your hat and scarf at home.
