Monday Blunday

Monday has come and gone, and here I am, doing the same thing I was last night. Whee, how exciting is the life of a student.

Anyway, a short recap of today:
  • Dropped the class that I had a major freak-out attack about last night. Major dilemma gone. I hope I made the right decision. It feels like a relief.
  • Actually did some homework, which seems amazing considering how much paper I have to sift through before I can write my paper that is due in exactly one week.
  • Read a lot of stuff for my paper. The outline is growing. This is good. The outline is not done. This is bad.
  • Realized how wearing sunglasses while walking down the street just makes you feel that much better about yourself, but I don't know why.
  • Wanted to take pictures of snow accumulations from past weeks on campus, but resisted temptation because I don't have time to waste.
  • Watched 24 and Medium - two really solid Monday night shows. What a change from 2004, when Monday was seriously a TV wasteland.
  • Went to pilates.
  • Daydreamed about taking photographs of the snowy lake from the lakefront path, realizing that I don't know when I'll ever have the time to do that, but oh how beautiful the pictures would be.
  • Had a craving for arepas, so much so that if I hadn't had a paper to research, I might have driven to Cub Foods to get the stuff.
  • Observed a few more moments at the law school that look like adaptations of parts of Mean Girls.
  • Had no mail.
  • Didn't go on AIM at all. By choice. Both because I had a lot to do and I just didn't feel like it. Crazy, huh?
  • Waited on line at the bank for about 15 minutes when there was only one person ahead of me on the line and one person already at the teller window. Waste. Of. Time.
  • Returned a textbook and got back money that I had no desire to part with in the first place.
  • Observed a lot of horrendous driving, including someone from my class and I have decided I never want to ride in his/her car.
  • Other random things, including making a list instead of going to sleep when I'm virtually collapsed in bed from exhaustion.
Enough. Long day tomorrow. 3 classes, heavy paper hanging over head waiting to crash. Thank goodness for the Amazing Race. Where would my sanity be without it?
